How to: Draw a straight line in Paint.
Solution:
Click the straight-line tool and drag the mouse pointer.
NOTE: This solution assumes that Paint is opened.
1) Click the line tool in the tool box.

2) Click a color for the line in the color palette.
3) Click the line width in the tool box.
4) Hold down SHIFT and drag the mouse pointer to draw a straight line.
